Typo is an app for designers, inspired by Pinterest but for type. Websites like Typewolf and Fonts in Use are resources I often use before projects, but it is an intentional scroll in search of typefaces every time unlike Pinterest, which I can mindlessly view for inspiration on the go. I wanted to create an app for designers to get inspiration and learn about design on the go. Design history is a subject that has shaped my own understanding of my work and the world around me, and I believe it is a necessity in every day life. Creating an app where I could facilitate this passion was an important goal for this project, and has also grown my own understanding of accessibility within technology and the interactions between modern tech and design history.
