The synopsis of the project was to recreate an existing poster on campus, and I recreated a Valentine’s letter writing event promotional poster. I wanted to evoke a more serious tone because of the senior citizens aspect of the event, which lead to my decision for the serif and script typefaces. I began the project with the background image and set the mood, tone, colors, and placement of graphic elements around it. The original poster also below!
