I created a Thank You card, Condolences card, and Birthday card for this project. For the Thank You card, I was inspired by old Japanese stationary and twee nostalgia to create something similar in tone (fun and feminine) in greeting card form. For the Condolences card, I used handwriting as type on the back and cover to convey intimacy. And lastly, for the Birthday card, I felt it would be interesting to take something always so maximalist in design and spin it in a minimalist way.
